Other HHRC English content

‘HHRC’ is KRHH in English; FYI we have so far dedicated these additional resources to be fully in English:

(1) bit.ly/HHRC_pocketbook; our community’s handbook in PDF which if printed in its original size (A6), should fit nicely in one’s pocket. It contains an overview of our activities and scope together with main principles and contacts.

(2) bit.ly/hhrcNus; our online almanac for the Nusantara region, which to us is not only Indonesia. We specifically call naturally naked-eye hijri calendars as ‘almanacs’ and all other dating systems as ‘calendars’ (including so-called hijri calendars). Moreover, even the ones that are determined humanely/naturally are all called calendars as well if it uses the artificial borders of a state/country to ‘enforce’ its hijri dating (unless it is applicable, e.g. small states/countries like Brunei Darussalaam, Singapore). Please note, however, that for locations far West of Nusantara the natural hijri dating may differ but also may use the Nusantara sighting reports or almanacs to determine hijri dating in that location, albeit unseen locally there. To fathom this approach one can read this short guidebook: bit.ly/soc-en, namely on pages thirty to thirty-six (total pages 72 A5 size).

(3) You are most welcome to write in English to info@krhh.or.id, Arabic as well. You may require certain pages or blogs in this website to be presented/translated in English. Momentarily, for the gist of it please use auto-translations.
